A Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission truck stops on the bridge in Volant to check the ice on the Neshannock River. Although the trout stocking was cancelled in Volant, a pancake-and-sausage breakfast in the firehall still drew a crowd, and the fish were able to be placed downstream.
